better every day

Have been taking it easy as instructed. Took daily naps there for awhile! But have been up and out, just to run quick / easy errands the last couple of days. Still drinking more than I'm eating, but no fever and no coughing since the middle of the week.

Today my friend Angie and I went to the movies. We saw Life As We Know It - a predictable chick flick - but fun! She and I have been friends since kindergarten I think, or at least first grade! Angie and I spent many a night at one another's house as we were growing up and as happens, lost touch there for awhile. Thankfully though, these last few years, we've gotten together frequently for lunch or a movie - and to chat - we always have plenty to talk about! But soon she'll be moving to California :( and that makes me sad. Seems like we've just reconnected as adults (and nearly empty-nesters) and now life takes her across the country. Hopefully we'll make the effort to stay in touch, I know she'll be back to visit family and who knows .... I might just have to head west sometime myself!
