back to the doctor today

This morning I felt worse than ever! Didn't want to get out of bed, I was cold (feverish) and muscles hurt from being curled up so tightly all night. I eventually managed to, but skipped having coffee (obviously not right!) and went straight for the juice and Tylenol. My temp read 101*

I don't cough a lot, but where it had been dry before, it was more raspy now. I had a headache and ringing in my ears. Sent Jennifer a text and she got me an appointment to see my oncologist. While waiting for that, I laid on the couch and didn't get up / slept for nearly three more hours! Took my second dose of the Z-pack, some Advil, and a shower. Sabrina took me to Dr. Rowland's office and for the first time ever, dropped me off at the door. I took the elevator to the second floor - having no energy to climb the stairs :(

He confirmed my counts from yesterdays lab work were good, and therefor believes I can fight this off. He asked all sorts of questions and probably would have considered hospitalization had I not answered some of them correctly. He opted not to do chemo today (not gonna kick ya while you're down) and said that I won't have to make it up! So I was sent home with instructions to finish the antibiotics, get plenty of rest and DRINK. If I'm not able to drink enough, he said to come in anytime for IV fluids. I will see him again next Wednesday.
