If it hadn't been for that snowstorm / blizzard, I would finish today.... but oh well, Monday works for me! And to prove I have my priorities right, I've even delayed my last treatment for a few hours - so that I can go to lunch with my besties (we do so once a month). Wouldn't wanna miss that! So I'll lunch in Monticello with the girls, then have my LAST treatment on Monday afternoon.
I don't think I can fully grasp the idea of being done yet. Maybe it's because reconstruction is still up in the air .... But hey - treatment & kicking this (silly) cancers butt is #1 and top priority.... so I shall celebrate having succeeded at that!
Here is a pic of my crispy / radiated skin. It is now peeling, especially on my collarbone. It's tolerable though & none of that area has had any more treatment, so it's on the mend now.
In other news - I have a new granddog { yes, I am rolling my eyes! } His name is Hugo, he is Jeremiah's, he is a miniature bulldog and he is cute as a button!
