snowpocalypse 2011

yep - we got it! First in waves of sleet and freezing rain.... then in snow and now high winds. Blizzard conditions out there right now.... can't tell if it's still snowing or just blowing everything around. Thankfully my power has stayed on, so I'm warm and comfy inside (except for when I take the dogs out - Brrr! )

On to the really important things though; I WAS able to get my hair colored yesterday - whew! It wasn't too bad yet yesterday morning, so I called radiation and my hairdesser to see if I could come to both a little early. Because of cancellations they'd had - that wasn't a problem. So I braved the sleet and got my treatment in (knowing that today would be a no-go and tomorrow is questionable).

From Champaign to Farmer City to get rid of the grey - and boy am I glad I did! Though many loved the grey.... they also said this is like having "me" back :) My friend Reba worded it well last night..... saying I'd been bald because of cancer; had super short grey hair because of cancer; but I'm blonde because I CHOOSE to be!

It just feels better to me ~
