I finally began to get a little nervous today. But I've kept busy and that has been helpful! The last few days have been filled with enough activities to keep my mind occupied and enough housework to keep my hands busy. Lots of laundry, guest room cleaning, grocery buying, etc. Oh ..... and I got my toes done for the big occasion :-)
My mom arrived about 4 this afternoon and we spent all evening talking, laughing (and a little crying, over Jeremiah's graduation dvd) but had a really nice time! I fixed our favorite meatloaf for dinner and sorted vacation pictures to put in an album I'll take to the hospital with me. I received numerous phone calls, text messages, emails and facebook posts this evening! To say I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, care and concern for me would be an understatement!
Thank you all very much for making me feel so special. The feeling is mutual and I appreciate your kindness!
Tomorrow is just another page in this adventure I call my life.
God will bless and care for me as he always has.
I'll be back here before ya know it .....

OK, this is really freaky...I posted my toes on Facebook just before MY surgery! But I painted them green. I really like the ribbons!
